The Cherwell Heritage Blend brick, manufactured by Northcot Brick, is an extruded facing brick that is red/multi in colour with a light, almost smooth texture. This Brick is perfect for renovation work. This brick is made from clay which has a high thermal mass and low conductivity and when incorporated into a building it gives it acoustic insulation. Clay bricks have a long service life, are reusable after use, and are highly durable and strong for many builds.
This brick is produced with a distressed appearance intended to soften the outline of individual bricks to create a more interesting visual appearance of the brickwork as a whole. The bricks have the benefit of a smooth back and can simply be reverse laid should the surface of the product appear too chipped from the ‘Rumbling’ process.
